This also is not my '85 GT, But I bought my first new car and it looked just like this. I often say, if I could have one of my old cars back this would be it.
Not my '68, but close enough to what I had. Color is Gulfstream Aqua. Mine had Blue interior and was a 6 cylinder. Saw this car in Pensacola. Wish I'd had the money, I'd of bought it.
This was my '87 GT. The first and only car I ever ordered from the factory.
My '89 LX 5.0. Bought new. Was my drag racer. Got it to run as fast as 12.45@107mph. These times were run at the Fun Ford race in Houston,Tx. Also was the longest I ever kept a car, 6 yrs.
This was my '93 Limited Edition LX 5.0 convertible. Bought this car when a friend of mine traded it in on a '95 Cobra.
Probably one of the most fun cars I ever owned. I spent way too much money on it. I put A.R.E. wheels, a Vortec Supercharger, and GT-40 intake & heads and several other mods on it. The car was photographed by 5.0 Magazine at the NMCA Finals in Memphis,Tn.. Was featured in the March '97 edition of their magazine.
This my old '98 Cobra. I put the hood & wheels on it not long after I bought it new.
My '01 GT, bought new when I traded the Cobra in. Deb never told me until later that she didn't really like red and wished I had kept the Cobra. That's what I get for not discussing it with her.
Traded the '01 GT in on the '03 Torch Red Mach 1(new), found out the car had had prior paint & body work, got Ford to do a buy back and bought the '04 Azure Blue Mach 1(new). Sold it to a friend of ours who wanted it for his son and then we bought the '93 convertible(Red).
